My first art exhibition in Cornwall

My first art exhibition in Cornwall

It was great to exhibit my artwork as part of the King Edward Mine Museum Open Day in Cornwall 0n 5th August. The museum is full of information about Cornish Mining heritage and is situated on 'The Great Flat Lode' - a previously prosperous mining area which still has many of the mine shafts and engine houses standing tall today.

My father was an architect and he designed the original plans for the King Edward Mine Museum in the late ‘90s. He was also responsible for restoring many of the engine houses along the Great Flat Lode to make them safe for the public. These beautiful, lonesome structures always remind me of him when I see them and it's great to make that link between his work and mine.

Here’s a few photos and a short film about the day!
