When you make a purchase from my Etsy shop I dispatch the item by courier within two working days. I only frame a certain number of prints in advance and the number available will be indicated in my Etsy shops. Once dispatched I will email you a dispatch notification. Please see full terms on my Etsy sites which you will be directed to when you click a product purchase button on this website.
If you want to purchase artwork from my studio in Redruth then please email me to hold an artwork and arrange a time to collect it. Please don’t purchase the item online otherwise you will be charged a shipping fee which is non refundable. You can pay by credit/debit card when you arrive here at my studio (please note I don’t accept cash).
My artwork is also available to purchase from The Portreath Arms
As courier companies won't insure glass (regardless of how well the item is packaged), they won't pay out if your framed artwork arrives damaged. I take great care to make sure your parcel is packaged securely and I've had no breakages to date. However, if your item does arrive damaged please take a photo and contact me within 3 days. As I will not be able to claim on the insurance, I will shoulder the costs to replace the glass/frame myself.
You can return your damaged artwork and I will refund you (please do not return any item without contacting me first), but you must cover your return shipping costs. So it will be simpler for us both if I can pay for any repairs at your end. This will require proof of purchase (receipt) from your choice of framer.
If you do return artwork please do not send any broken glass or damaged frames back to me in the post.
Unframed items such as mugs, tea towels and unframed prints (anything that doesn’t contain glass) will have insurance included in your shipping costs.
I ship every order with MyHermes and every order requires a signature for delivery (maximum 3 attempts to deliver).
In the rare circumstance that your item doesn't arrive, I cannot be held responsible for this and cannot issue a refund. No courier company will insure glass items and even if your item goes missing they will not let you claim on the insurance. This is a risk you will need to accept upon purchasing my framed artwork.
However, I can happily say that to date I've never had an item go missing during shipping! I don't want to put anyone off buying my artwork, obviously, but I want to be completely honest and upfront with my customers so that there are no grey areas. Like glass, it's important to be transparent!
Items that don’t contain glass will be insured, and while I cannot be held responsible or issue a refund in these circumstances either, you should be able to claim with MyHermes because the cost of your item will be covered in the shipping insurance.
I hope that you love your artwork, but if you change your mind you can return it. If you wish to make a return please inform me within 3 days of receiving your order. You can either return it back to my studio in person, or return via courier. If the latter, the item must be packaged securely - if the item goes missing or is not returned in its original condition, I cannot be held responsible and a refund will not be issued.
When you return an item I will refund your original payment. However, please note that your return shipping costs will not be refunded when you send your item back to me. Should you wish to exchange for another item, you will need to re order this again as a new purchase.
I aim to reimburse you within 14 working days.
Commissioned prints made to order are not subject to returns.
Each linocut or screenprint is hand printed. Although my best judgement goes into making them as uniform as possible, ink coverage will vary and therefore each print will look slightly different to each other. So the version you see on this website may not exactly represent the print you order. However, this is what makes your limited edition print special and unique so it's no bad thing! Any variations will only be slight.
All computer screens show colour differently. For instance a hue of blue may look lighter or darker on one computer screen than it does on another. Therefore any print you order, whether hand printed or digital, may differ slightly in colour from what you view when placing your order. I try to make sure that photographic representations of any artwork I post on this website are as accurate as possible.
